TRIBAL MINISTRY
India has one of the largest tribal population in the
world. More than 7% of the total population are Tribals. We have about 430 tribal groups having almost 1700 tribal languages. Forty percent of our churches in North India are among the various tribal groups in the states of Orissa, Assam, West Bengal, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Arunachal, border areas of Bhutan Sikkirn and also in Nepal. People are turning to the Lord in large numbers. Towards this ‘Tribal Missions India’ has been set up as a separate wing under IPCNR to present the claims of Christ to the Tribals of India and promote their wholistic development.

TRIBAL BIBLE TRAINING CENTRES
New congregations specially in these tribal areas are increasing day by day thus requiring more workers and also resources to train and support them. Towards this we are imparting short term training to our tribal believers at Bhubaneshwar, Siiguri and Tezpur. Those trained are being placed either to give leadership to the new congregations or to pioneer new fields in these Tribal areas.

BETHEL BIBLE INSTITUTE
In 1968, to cater to the need for laborers for the mushrooming congregations in North India, Bethel Bible Institute was established at New Delhi. Most of the present ministers working in Northern Region have been trained in this Institute. There are plans to develop the Institute into a more comprehensive training centre in the coming days.

PYPA NORTHERN REGION
The PYPA NR is sustained with the vision of ‘Saved to serve’. It is towards attaining this goal that local PYPA units are functioning and also zonal and regional camps are held. The purpose of these activities is to motivate our youth to be effective witnesses for the Lord wherever they are.

INDIAN PENTECOSTAL WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION
The purpose of this wing is to equip the sisters of the IPCNR churches to be dynamic
witnesses for the Lord. Through this movement the women are being channelised to become a powerful prayer force. Periodic meetings are held during which sisters facilitated to be good witnesses for the Lord both in word and deed.

IPC NR SUNDAY SCHOOL
To cater to the school going children of our churches, Sunday schools are functioning in every local church. We have printed text cum work books for the students from class I to IX. Along with periodic activities for these children they are nurtured in the fear of the Lord.
